JOB: FIELD BASED TRAINER

REMIT: National

ROLE:

  • Working within the Learning & Development Team, reporting into the Head of Learning & Development you will be supporting all field based teams (Territory Managers, Clinical Support, Healthcare Partnership Managers) to maximise performance
  • This is a key role within the organisation in terms of sales force effectiveness and upskilling individuals
  • Assessing an individual’s learning requirements through analysing sales results and marketing strategic plans and evaluating training effectiveness
  • Involved in ITC’s and on-boarding of all new employees
  • Responsible for the ongoing training for the whole commercial team, as well specific interventions identified  in partnership with sales leaders to maximise personal performance
  • Attending field visits with sales team members, developing new training methods, designing and developing training materials

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrable successful track record in a relevant sales role from the medical devices/pharmaceutical industry
  • Current/previous field sales training and coaching experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • A proven track record of coaching and developing sales representatives and delivering training programs
  • Have the ability to design, develop and deliver first class training programs virtually and face to face
  • Ability to recognise and implement additional training or mentoring where there is a need.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment; must be a high-energy and a motivated self-starter
  • Ability to travel nationally as required with frequent overnight stays

IDEALLY YOU WILL:

  • Have relevant experience within the wound care market in either sales, L&D or a training role (advantageous, not essential)
  • Be educated to a Degree level or equivalent
  • Have strong presentation skills
  • Possess a commanding presence – building trust and commanding respect
  • Have strong IT skills and be technically able in terms of PowerPoint/presentation design, word and excel with the ability to learn complex systems quickly
  • Have exceptional organisation skills in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously
